Job Summary
- Serves food and beverages to patrons in a dining establishment.
General Accountabilities
- Greets patrons, provides seating, and/or maintains waiting list, when occupancy load is full.
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food.
- Takes customer orders and relays further to the kitchen.
- Serves customers their pre-ordered food and beverages.
- Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
- Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier.
- Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.
- Clears table; Anticipates guest transition and the timings of table turns.
- Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of entryway and washrooms
- Performs other related duties as needed.

Job Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience

Note: For serving an Alcoholic beverage a Serve right, or an equivalent liquor serving license is preferred.
