Job Title: Operations Representative I

Reports to: Assistant Operations Manager

Classification: Non Exempt

Location: On-Site

Role:

Provides support to the credit union, the service centers, and membership by efficiently and

effectively completing various duties associated with various areas of Operations. Performs

detailed tasks pertaining to the operations activities of the service center. Reviews and processes

as necessary all reports associated with each function, maintaining all related general ledger

accounts in balance.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

40% - (Job Knowledge) – Perform any one or two of the following complex functions. Works

independently and uses decision-making abilities to complete all duties observing the

highest quality standards. Reviews/Processes ACH transactions. Processes share draft

exceptions, which include return items, Fed adjustments, legal orders, levies and

subpoenas. Processes payroll deduction. Processes Debit Card/Reg. E disputes and fraud

claims complete daily debit card settlement. Completes ATM/FSCC daily settlement for

all systems/vendors (CO-OP, FSCC, ANI). Processes MasterCard disputes and fraud

claims, complete daily credit card settlements. Completes daily mail, return deposit items

, and member correspondence. Completes and reconciles electronic services daily reports

(mobile deposits, bill pay and online banking)

20% - (Productivity) - Performs all duties within assigned time frames and produces a high

volume of work retaining quality standards

20% - (Member Focus) - Assists all service centers and external customers with requests;

answers questions about credit union products and services, and resolves issues related to

internal systems, operating procedures, and regulatory compliance.

10% - (Policy Compliance) – Maintains proficiency in regulations related to any duties that are

performed, such as Regulation E, Regulation CC, ACH, etc.

5% - (Initiative) – Initiates improvements in work processes, accepts constructive feedback in a

positive manner, and works well within the service center to ensure all work is processed

timely.

5% - (Teamwork and Cooperation) – Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting

other service centers.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 6 months to one year experience in a financial institution
