The Role:
Exos is hiring a Performance Athletic Trainer to work as an Exos employee contracted with the OHWS program developed by the Air Combat Command to prevent potential injuries associated with flying and maneuvering aircraft. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable, resume building experience in a tactical setting while working with pilots to maintain their health. Performance Athletic Trainers will perform the following duties:
- Provide instruction and guidance to help prevent injuries and maximize athlete physical conditioning and performance
- Participate in periodic meetings to review the care provided to patients and identifies opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate throughout the EXOS team to enhance the quality of patient care delivered.
- Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to ensure the EXOS team stays current with the provision of care.
- Ensure safe and effective operation of equipment used for patient care and contributes to a safe working environment.
- Attend annual required training in accordance with guiding instructions
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
The Ideal Candidate would have:
- Master's Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training
- 5 years’ experience with elite athletes
- Certified by National Athletic Training Association (NATABOC)
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
