Culterra is currently seeking a vibrant Grower/Horticulturist living in or around Muldersdrift, Westrand, GP, RSA with excellent Horticulture & retail experience that will lead the department.
MUST HAVE HORTICULTURE EXPERIENCE
- Someone energetic and reliable.
- Must be of sober habit, be fit and healthy and be able to work under pressure.

- The ideal candidate will be goal-driven and able to work independently.
- Solid knowledge of soil mixtures, fertilizer, and chemical application.
- Drivers License & own vehicle.
- Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Email
- Excellent Afrikaans and/orEnglish writing, speaking, and reading skills.
- Determine optimal growing conditions for each plant.
- Take into account the sun each area receives, slopes in the landscape, soil type, drainage, and other factors that affect plant growth.
- Decide which plants to grow and how many of each plant are necessary for business operations.
- Make calculations based on projected sales or current orders.
- Set budgets, order supplies, and ensure proper working conditions of equipment.
- Decide about when to plant, fertilize, harvest, and sell.
- Examine plants for diseases, insects, wildlife damage, and weeds to protect the health of the garden.
-Delegates job duties and ensures that employees do their jobs properly.
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Salary depending on qualifications and experience.

- A completed matric
- A completed degree, preferably in Horticulture
