For our client, an international company in logistics based in Antwerp, we are acitvely looking for a Senior Accountant / GL Accountant.
Job Description
As a GL Accountant / Senior Accounting you are working in a team of 4 GL Accountants reporting to the Accounting Manager. Your Responsibilities:
- GL Accounting of 1 or more entities.
- Fiscal Compliance, including preparation of VAT and other tax declaration and helping during tax controls.
- Year-end closings.
- Helping during Audits.
- Contact with external parties. (auditors, tax advisors, tax authorities)
- A variety of ad hoc tasks and projects across the accounting department.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of working experience in GL Accounting.
Basic understanding of fiscal principles to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Thrives in a flexible work environment with changing schedules and diverse demands.
Collaborative and enjoys working effectively as part of a team
