Job Title: Accounts Officer

Salary: 40k to 45k PKR

Background and Skills: note these skills are a must •

ideally candidate must have at least 2 years of proven previous experience in any accounting firm.

  • Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software(s), like QuickBooks, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of accounts.
  • Excellent analytical and interpretation skills, organization skills, and attention to details
  • Excellent written reporting & verbal communication skills (English).
  • Strong administration skill.
  • Must have understanding of accruals based accounting method.
  • Must know the double entry and treatment.

Accountant role, duties and responsibilities:

An Accountant will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:

  • providing financial advice
  • Management of financial systems and budgets
  • Undertaking financial audits.
  • Performing tests to check financial information and systems
  • Maintaining records, preparing accounts and management information
  • Advising clients on areas of business improvement, or dealing with insolvency
  • Detecting and preventing fraud (forensic accounting)
  • Audit experience
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook as well as accounting and accounts.
