ideally candidate must have at least 2 years of proven previous experience in any accounting firm.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software(s), like QuickBooks, etc.
- Excellent understanding of accounts.
- Excellent analytical and interpretation skills, organization skills, and attention to details
- Excellent written reporting & verbal communication skills (English).
- Strong administration skill.
- Must have understanding of accruals based accounting method.
- Must know the double entry and treatment.
Accountant role, duties and responsibilities:
An Accountant will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:
- providing financial advice
- Management of financial systems and budgets
- Undertaking financial audits.
- Performing tests to check financial information and systems
- Maintaining records, preparing accounts and management information
- Advising clients on areas of business improvement, or dealing with insolvency
- Detecting and preventing fraud (forensic accounting)
- Audit experience
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook as well as accounting and accounts.
