WHAT TO EXPECT
Body Engineering is one of the largest departments within Jaguar Land Rover. With an increasingly demanding premium customer and rapidly changing technologies and materials, Body Engineering has to stay at the forefront of vehicle innovation and research.
This role is within the team responsible for HIL design, implementation and maintenance of current and future HIL rigs, as well as validating specific systems on these HIL rigs. This team will perform upgrades of the hardware and software to support the ongoing Hardware in the Loop strategy. They will be responsible for the software and hardware required to enable the validation and testing of ECU modules required by various chassis teams. They will develop and execute test cases to validate the system and software.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support the development of HIL test environments for purposes of Vehicle ECU subsystems test, verification and validation.- Support the development of bespoke tools and modules to support ECU test and validation
- Creation of simulation models & environments for offline function development
- Develop and integrate Simulink S-Function for purposes of Plant/Controller Function Simulation
- Using and integrating COTS Plant/Vehicle Models as required
- DSPACE Toolchain Configuration
- Supporting Test Automation Tools
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow toolchain- Knowledge of dSpace tools, including target link, Control Desk ,AutomationDesk, HIL architecture
- Experience using Software configuration tools, Automated test tools script writing
- Experience using Software configuration tools
- Educated to degree level in relevant subject, with good communication skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills essential; a good team player
