As the indispensable link between Hysopt users, the research world, and our own team, you will play a crucial part in driving our science-based engineering software forward. You will be in charge of tackling complex matters across the entire Hysopt product line, and take on a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our innovative software.


This is what your week looks like:

  • Collaborate with project engineers as software users to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into actionable software developments
  • Participate in design discussions and provide valuable insights to ensure user-friendly implementations and seamless integration of functionalities
  • Perform in-depth analysis of newly implemented functionalities to ensure our Hysopt software meets the highest quality standards
  • Document software functionalities, user guides, and release notes to facilitate effective user adoption and support
  • Monitor sprint priorities and scope by managing the backlog and effectively communicating with developers and stakeholders
  • Assist in the analysis and resolution of software issues, working closely with the R&D Team to ensure timely bug fixes and improvements


You recognise yourself in this:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, coupled with a keen interest in HVAC engineering and software development
  • Experience with the total lifecycle of software development, or eager in making it your own
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and translate them into practical software solutions
  • Affinity for physics and/or mathematics, with a genuine curiosity to comprehend the hydraulic and thermodynamic behavior of heating and cooling systems
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects to successful completion
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
