He angitūtanga | About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this newly created team to get stuck into a varied work portfolio. In this role no two days are the same and you will be responsible for being the first contact by providing technical support, taking ownership of customer issues, ensuring prompt resolution and going above and beyond to provide great customer service to our staff. You will work a rostered shift to provide 7-day-a-week Service Desk operation, between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm, including out-of-hours support for critical incident escalation.

What you'll bring to the role:
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- A customer centric, adaptable team approach with a can-do attitude and a real desire to help people
- Positive and optimistic approach to problem solving and troubleshooting, where you use initiative and take ownership, escalating requests and incidents to the appropriate support levels when necessary
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 and Adobe
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the DOC Operation Model
- A relevant qualification

You will be part of a newly created nationwide team comprising of a Team Lead based in Wellington and eight Service Desk Analysts located around the country. You will be part of the wider Information Systems and Services team and work in an environment that supports learning and development and numerous opportunities to improve your technical knowledge and skills.

The salary range for this position is $58,314 – $73,401 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
