At Mercedes-Benz.io, our E-Commerce team focus specifically on the purchasing phase of the customer journey and is dedicated to providing a seamless and luxurious digital sales experience for our customers around the world.

As an integral part of Mercedes-Benz's digital transformation, we lay the foundation for reshaping sales strategies and business processes. Our cloud-based SAP Commerce platform serves as the technological core of our online sales solutions, which we design, operate, and maintain.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

In your role as Experimentation Specialist, you will join the Data Insights team, which is responsible for measuring and improving the worldwide Mercedes-Benz websites and e-commerce solutions. This includes a variety of different digital products and services, as well as the E-commerce environment. Or to reframe it: Everything that Mercedes-Benz is offering for its existing and future customers.

You will also:

  • Show deep understanding of business goals and product goals and convert them into testing hypothesis
  • Demonstrate your capacity to consult various stakeholders on the technical feasibility of experiments
  • Foster data driven product development by promoting experimentation at the product level
  • Handle and transform data, analyse data to extract the results of AB tests
  • Translate results of AB tests to non technical audiences and present results with a clear storyline
  • Work autonomously with our tool stack and used programming languages (Google Analytics, SQL, Databricks, etc)
TO SUCCEED YOU NEED
  • To have past experience with:
    AB Testing principles & Methodologies – have implemented AB Tests in websites or apps, knowledge of statistics and probability theory;
    Digital Analytics knowledge – Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar;
    Data analysis programming languages – SQL, Python/PySpark/Pandas, or similar).

  • To have experience with AB Testing tools (like Kameleoon, Adobe Target, AB Tasty, Optimizely etc.)
  • To have experience in Digital Analytics focused on Lead Generation, e-Commerce and/or CRO
  • To be in contact with others, you are strong in communication and have good moderation and presentation skills
  • To be a problem solver, you organize yourself and you are always ready to find new and creative solutions
