Qualification: BS in Poultry Science or related field
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in relevant field.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of animal husbandry is mandatory.
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine.
- Livestock management.
- Coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the health of the livestock
- Resolving contract grower conflicts.
- Bio-security, strain security, animal welfare and health & safety are major responsibilities.
- Assisting with placements, vaccinations, and disinfection.
- May perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor.
- Calculate feed, manage and weigh birds, prioritize work schedules, solve problems relating to growth, performance, etc.
