Administrative Assistant - Maternity Cover

Job Description:

To assist the planning team with any and all tasks including metering, new service connections and reinstatement works as set by Portsmouth Water.

Essential Job Functions:

  • To process incoming work requests and produce work packs
  • Monitor gangs progress throughout the day
  • Ensure accurate records are captured
  • Attend any meetings regarding the current programmes
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Monitoring database of incoming jobs
  • Producing work packs for gangs
  • Checking work complete and changing any anomalies
  • Reporting data to client
  • Assisting Streetworks Team with any administrative tasks set

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy & attention to detail
  • Some data systems experience ideal
  • Organised, reliable and conscientious
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time keeping

Reporting to: Contract Planning Manager

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Salary: From £20,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 14/08/2023
