I. SUMMARY:

At POPS, we believe employee engagement and development are primary drivers of company performance and retention. The HR Manager will be responsible for building and delivering HR programs and activities that support the business growth via engaging & high performing people. This position will lead all aspects of the employee journey from the first day onward, and further our values-based culture, driving a relentless focus on talent to make POPS a great place to work.

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes to support business growth.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders, including business and functional leaders, to develop and deliver innovative organisational development solutions that can attract, motivate and retain talents.
  • Supporting and coaching the organisation’s leaders by providing a thoughtful, data-driven approach to the organisation’s opportunities and challenges.
  • Promote company culture and values in ways that drive accountability and result in happy, engaged high performing individuals and teams.
  • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
  • Manage HR operations of the whole business.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field of studies.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in an HR leader capacity for the mid-sized company (~300 employees), in high-tech or media is a plus.
  • Strong credentials as an organisational leader, with deep business acumen, proven ability to understand strategic organisational issues, and lead and influence change.
  • Strong experience with Talent acquisition & Employee engagement.
  • Ability to build relationships and establish credibility throughout an organisation as an effective coach and problem-solver of people issues.
  • A capable and confident communicator and people manager, with a very strong personal presence
  • Strong knowledge of Labor Law, related documents and practices.
  • Self-starter, can-do attitude, result-oriented.
  • Being comfortable with uncertainty and being able to build up things from scratch.
