ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Global Corporate Planning & Analysis (CP&A) team is responsible for provision of all
management reporting and analysis to Group Senior Management. The role holder will be expected to
have a good understanding of financial principles and systems to be able to manage the delivery of
high-quality reports and insights to senior stakeholders.
What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?
Working together with Central Marketing Finance on preparing and consolidating Central budgets to ensure tight control over central costs.
Working together with Corporate Finance teams in order to achieve compliance over SOX controls and statutory financial statements.
Working together with GBS Shared Service Centre in order to make sure that both financial and management accountings are reflected in accordance with Group Accounting Policies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
The role is responsible to manage activities such as (but not limited to):
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial information (Budgets, Forecasts and Actual results) to Corporate Finance Manager.
- Support and/or manage as appropriate all aspects of Cost Centre control for Central Marketing functions that will cover among others processing of inter-company/inter-budgetary recharges, managing Purchase Orders and ensuring the right structure of Cost Centres for the Marketing Function
- Identify, assess and where appropriate implement efficiency improvements
- To investigate and understand actual postings made e.g. the detail behind payroll costs or central GBS postings such as T&E
- Analysis of the Open / Overdue and GR/IR Reports received from UK Companies team and distribute them to PO Creators / Requisitioners providing support so that they can take relevant actions or provide relevant commentaries; consolidate feedback and send back to UK Companies team
- Monthly Payroll postings received from UK Payroll team - consolidate and share with HRBPs; post salary reclass journals as requested by HR
- Monthly review of actuals for potential adjustments e.g. T&E reallocations, payroll reallocations, accrual re-posting, RRB loads
- Ad-hoc requests from FBs related to SAP account role maintenance, incidents requests, other relevant requests to the support teams
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
Proven experience as a Finance Analyst, Finance Assistant or similar role, at least 1 year;
- Experience in analysing reports, identifying issues and challenging management;
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to look beyond the numbers to identify trends and insights;
- Rational decision making, and problem-solving ability is essential;
- Experience of identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement;
- Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format;
- Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy;
- Fluency in English.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
A good understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems ERPs, specifically SAP/BPC/BI;- A very good understanding of Microsoft Office tools, proficiency in Excel;
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
