We are looking for an AP Team Leader that supports and assists the Accounts Payable (AP) services manager in all management dimensions and will be responsible for AP team operational performance in Portugal and Belgium.
Your day-to-day:
- Proposes and implements process harmonization and standardization between the different legal entities and promotes an end-to-end Procure to Pay approach;
- Prepare reporting of KPIs to customers and stakeholders to display process performance and propose mitigation actions with Customers and other stakeholders;
- Propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities;
- Monitoring of incoming invoice flows from suppliers;
- Ensure payment of invoices in due time that respect full conformance with internal and external requirements;
- Be a focal point for customer relationships;
- Support the AP services manager in special projects (i.e systems evolution).
Your Skills:
- You must be multilingual (English are a must, any additional language is a strong +)
- You are open for regular travel to BE and other stow sites
- Must have a proven track record of AP lead (minimum 3 years)
- SAP R/3 in combination with an OCR tool (e.g. VIM at stow) is a must
- Strong in process implementation & Approach
- Strong people skills (experienced in coaching, judging, appraisals, one meeting, team meetings, taking tough decisions, etc.)
- Knowledge of VAT principles and how this works in SAP R/3 – must be able to grasp & understand meetings with internal/external VAT specialists
- You can deal with stress – can build structure & processes
- You are service-oriented versus plants, purchase departments, local finance folks, vendors
- You have strong communication skills.
