The Digital Global Unit (DGU) is an area of EDP SA and its mission is to challenge the organization to think differently and go beyond, in a context of increasingly frequent and faster technological, economic and social changes, creating and disseminating a digital friendly culture, favorable to the development and experimentation of new solutions that create value for the various stakeholders of the EDP Group. To support us in this role, we intend to recruit for the Transformation Office department.



Main responsibilities:

  • Perform all logistics (e.g. travel, procurement), non-technical infrastructure and administrative support activities to the Corporate Director of the Digital Global Unit and to the Managers of the various areas, namely: scheduling appointments, dealing with all the necessary arrangements for meetings and conferences, updating agendas, files, records and databases;
  • Manage the working fund and the savings account under the responsibility of the DGU in liaison with EDP Global Solutions, liaising with suppliers in relation to selection, pricing and delivery of materials, equipment and supplies, price and delivery of office supplies, equipment and services and issue purchase orders for daily consumption materials;
  • Ensure administrative support to the Management Committees, meetings and activities of the DGU, disseminate the resulting deliberations and documentation and update support tools;
  • Manage administratively the formal documentation of the DGU activity, keeping it up to date in digital format and in physical archive;
  • Ensure the analysis of the status of relevant equipment/facilities, according to the corporate maintenance/exploitation corporate policies for maintenance/operation of equipment/facilities,respecting environmental and safety standards;
  • Ensure the safety and conservation of the facilities and the efficient use of the means resources allocated to the DGU (e.g. meeting rooms, technical equipment, furniture and decorative accessories);
  • Receive requests for facilities and liaise new needs/changes with EDP Global Solutions;
  • Administratively manage the formal documentation of the activity of the DGU, keeping it up to date, in digital and physical up to date, in digital format and in physical archive;
  • Supervise interventions in the facilities or access needs to the buildings during non-working hours or for exceptional situations.

Looking for people with the following requirements:

  • Secondary School complete, preferably in professional technical secretarial courses or similar;
  • Professional experience between 3 to 8 years, mandatory as a Executive Assistant or Secretary;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and English (mandatory);
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks;
  • Dynamic, proactive and empathetic spirit;
  • Aptitude and capacity to work as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
