We are now looking for an Agile Coach to support UPM in the adoption of Agile methodology. This position is located in Tampere or Helsinki, Finland.

What you’ll do:
  • Facilitate organizational adoption strategy design and implementation, from the introduction of Agile and employee education to the cultivation of Agile culture and mindset
  • Define strategy for the UPM Agile toolkit and ensure Product or Service teams are able to collaborate
  • Continuously introduce UPM emerging trends/best practices to achieve maximum results from the use of agile practices
  • Design and develop Agile processes and practices and ensure that they enable Product or Service teams to operate in an integrative and collaborative manner
  • Train, mentor and coach area-specific Agile coaches, Agile and Product teams. Assess the current state and identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide hands-on support across different roles and levels, from Agile teams, up to Business and IT senior management
Who you are
What we’re looking for is an Agile coach who is passionate about Agile methodology and can coach, mentor, and teach Agile coaches and Agile teams. Someone, who is passionate about agile practices and principles and understands their connection to IT processes and policies.
  • You have working experience in an enterprise international company, consisting of many businesses and functions and are able to advise a senior leader on issues that might arise during the transition to an agile way of working
  • You have 3-6 years of working experience as a Scrum master/Agile Coach in a hybrid environment
  • You have Scrum Master and Agile Coaching experience across a variety of industries where you can bring different approaches to the organization
  • You have proven knowledge of the application of Agile at scale and demonstrated ability to coach and lead the cultural and organizational change to make it work
  • You have experience in coaching and training individuals and teams in Agile concepts and practices
  • You are an inspiring, open-minded coach who helps teams reach their full potential
  • You are comfortable with challenging and advising agile teams as well as senior leadership, in a way that encourages them to improve and embed new ways of working
  • You have a positive attitude and are energetic and can integrate into a fast-paced team environment
